ALS - Why do I have this website?

The blessing (to me) of having a very interesting and challenging client came my way in 2010.  In the course working with that client diagnosed with ALS, I searched the Internet and other resources, books, magazines, practitioners etc. for any information that could help my client.

I found very little alternative modality information readily available on the topic of ALS.  I did find some information and was able to talk to some other practitioners.  My client was very willing to put this information to the test.  I was encouraged with what my client tried and found helpful.  After his death, I continued my pursuit to learn about Alternative methods that might be useful for anyone with this diagnosis.   I did my dissertation for Trinity School of Natural Health on the topic of ALS and Alternative Modalities.

I committed, in honor of my client's memory, to put the information that I collected out on the Internet for anyone else searching for information on Complementary Modalities for ALS.  I decided the best way to make the information available was to create my own website.  This has been quite the learning experience for me.  I am not actively searching for new information on ALS, but as I run across some new information, it is my intent to add it to these pages.
While building this site, I decided it would also be a good opportunity to put down my experiences with another rare disease called Melorheostosis of Leri.  My personal experiences with this disease is my motivation for all that I have done in the Alternative Health world.   I have written about my journey with "Melo" elsewhere on this website.
